Save the Music – The Project

The SAVE THE MUSIC project, created in 2002, aims at promoting and spreading the awareness of the fundamental right to music as an education tool, from kindergarten to old age. Furthermore, the initiative is aimed at constantly putting pressure on the public entities that manage education in general and cultural education, in particular, in order that specific decisions are made capable of restoring this right to each person.

The Save the Music project has become larger: 7 schools throughout the national territory were added to the first 18 schools involved. We furthermore supplied musical instruments for the relevant ‘rehabilitation’ programme in 3 Prisons. The project’s success, monitored throughout time, encourages us to continue on the assumption of not creating talented but better people.
